Brian has completed his
cross-country trip, arriving at his parents' home near Trenton N.J. on Sunday. Marie and Xander will make the trip east by airplane later this month.
Brian's last tourist stop along the way was at
Luray Caverns in Virginia, where he especially enjoyed seeing the "Great Stalacpipe Organ."

It's billed as the world's largest musical instrument. As the web site explains, "Stalactites covering 3 1/2 acres of the surrounding caverns produce tones of symphonic quality when electronically tapped by rubber-tipped mallets. This one-of-a-kind instrument was conceived by Mr. Leland W. Sprinkle of Springfield, Virginia, a mathematician and electronics scientist at the Pentagon."
